PLANTAGE Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") recognizes that it is important to protect the personal information of customers, complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"), and hereby establishes the Privacy Policy as follows to strive to take appropriate handling and protection of personal information.
1.Definition of Personal Information
"Personal information" in this Privacy Policy means information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act, i.e., information containing name, date of birth, or other identifier or its equivalent which can be used to identify the specific individual, including any information that can be easily collated with other information and thereby used to identify that specific individual, or information containing an individual identification code.

The Company shall use customers' personal information for the following purposes:

3.Change in Purpose of Use of Personal Information

4.Limitation of Use of Personal Information
The Company shall not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without customers' consent, except as permitted by the Act or other applicable laws and regulations. However, this does not apply in the following cases:
- When the use of personal information is required by the applicable laws and regulations.
- When it is difficult to obtain customers' consent in the case where using personal information is required to protect human life, human health, or property.
- When it is difficult to obtain customers' consent in the case where using personal information is especially required to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by such body to execute affairs prescribed by the applicable laws and regulations, and obtaining customers' consent may impede the execution thereof.
5.Appropriate Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company shall acquire personal information in an appropriate manner and shall not use deception or other wrongful means to acquire it.
6.Safe Handling of Personal Information
The Company shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over its employees to ensure the safe handling of personal information against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage. In addition, when the Company entrusts to a third party all or part of the handling of personal information, the Company shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrusted party to ensure the safe handling of personal information.
7.Provision of Personal Information to Third Party
The Company shall not provide personal information to any third parties without customers' prior consent, except in the case where the disclosure of personal information is permitted under the Act or other applicable laws and regulations. However, the following cases shall not fall under the provision of personal information to a third party as stipulated above:
- When the Company provides the third party with personal information to entrust all or part of the handling thereof within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use of the Company.
- When personal information is provided in connection with the business succession due to a merger or other reasons.
- When personal information is jointly used in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
8.Disclosure of Personal Information
When a customer requests the Company to disclose his/her personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Act, the Company shall confirm whether the request has been made by the customer in question and disclose the requested information to the customer without delay. If it is found that the personal information in question does not exist, the Company shall notify the customer to that effect. However, this shall not apply to the case where the Act or other applicable laws and regulations exempt the Company from making such disclosure.
9.Corrections of Personal Information
When a customer requests the Company to correct, add or delete his/her personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the grounds that such information is false (hereinafter collectively referred to as "corrections"), the Company shall confirm whether the request has been made by the customer in question, conduct the necessary examination without delay to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use of information, review the result of examination to make corrections, and notify the customer to that effect. If the Company decides to decline the request for the corrections, the Company shall notify the customer to that effect. However, this does not apply to the case where the Act or other applicable laws and regulations exempt the Company from making such corrections.
10.Suspension of Use of Personal Information
When a customer requests the Company to suspend the use of or delete his/her personal information (hereinafter collectively referred to as "suspension of use") on the grounds that the information has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use publicly announced in advance or that the information was obtained through deception or other wrongful means, and such request is found reasonable, then the Company shall confirm whether the request is made by the customer in question, execute the suspension of use of such information and then notify the customer to that effect. However, this does not apply to the case where the Act or other applicable laws and regulations exempt the Company from executing such suspension of use.
11.Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Service may use cookies and similar technologies, which help the Company understand customers' usage of the Service and improve the Service. Those who wish to disable cookies may do so by changing the settings on their web browsers. However, disabling cookies may prevent using a part of the Service.
12.Inquiries
Requests for disclosure or submission of opinions, questions, complaints and other inquiries regarding the handling of personal information shall be directed to the contact point stipulated on the website of "Act on specified commercial transactions" or by using the inquiry form on the website.
13.Continuous Improvement
The Company may review the operational status of handling personal information from time to time to strive for continuous improvement and may change this Privacy Policy as necessary.
