How to use the service

1. Click on the "buy" button and complete your payment.
2. After you have completed your payment, we will send you an order confirmation email and provide you with a link to download the Kampo medicine questionnaire.
3. Download the file and open the questionnaire on your screen. Please note that the file can only be downloaded once.
4. Fill out the questionnaire and submit it. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
5. Once we receive your responses, we will review them and determine your constitution and tendencies. Based on this information, we will recommend several Kampo medicines that are suitable for your current symptoms, as well as provide advice on diet and lifestyle.

1. You should expect a response within 5 business days. No shipping fee will be charged since the response will be sent via email. If you do not receive a response after 5 days, please contact us.
2. We do not sell Kampo medicines on this website. Instead, we will suggest the names of Kampo medicines that are suitable for your current symptoms. You can purchase these medicines at online or neighborhood pharmacies if you are located in Japan.

What is Japanese Kampo medicine?

Japanese Kampo Medicine (abbreviated as 'Kampo') is a traditional Japanese medical system derived from Classical Chinese Medicine and comprising unique diagnostic methods, herbal formulas, and therapeutic approaches. While Western medicine is scientific and theoretical, Kampo is philosophical and empirical in nature. Additionally, while Western medicine uses analytical methods and perspectives to ultimately localize the lesion, Kampo views the mind and body as a unified microcosm to achieve overall balance. Kampo encompasses the concept of holistic medicine, in which each individual's condition is comprehensively understood and treated from both mental and physical aspects, which is why it is sometimes referred to as 'individualized medicine'. In Western medicine, medicines are typically single-component, refined synthetic products, whereas in Kampo, they are compound-component, natural products made from a combination of several herbal medicines. Because they are compound ingredients, their mechanisms of action can be difficult to elucidate, but they are characterized by milder effects and fewer side effects.
